CORPSECORPS I don't use it in place of finder, but when i need to do any serious organization and browsing, this is a GREAT tool. It's not overpriced considering the vast array of features and essentially other apps built in, though i know some folks who'd snap it up if were cheaper, or on promo (hint hint). I used to use File Buddy, but by comparison, it's interface was awful. (Version 5.1.3)

MACINTOSH SAUCE This morning I tried Path Finder for the first time and I LOVE it! :) This program makes file maintenance on my Mac Pro and MacBook so easy. After playing around with the program for a couple of hours, I decided to buy it because it is worth every penny IMHO. (Version 5.1.2)

MAC66GRAPHICS Until the next update, I'll have to refrain from this current upgrdae or go back to a previous version of pathfinder. I love the features [dlb 'finder views in one window +] this app offers, BUT when I tried using this update, my mac pro crashed X 2 with the black curtain descending on the screen like a window shade, stating I had to restart my mac immediately ["or else"]. The problem cleared up when I trashed this version. (Version 5.1)

EASER I'm still hoping they re-implement the column view "roll back" feature from version 4. They tell me they are working on that. Other than that, I can't fathom using Apple's finder for a single thing. The view customizations alone are worth the price of PF for me. Apparently, not a single programmer at Apple is over age 50, else you would not have those incredibly teeny tiny icons and such limited font sizes. This current version is even nicer because it seems to load really fast. These guys just keep on adding improvements, and as I've noted before, they have always responded to my inquiries. It is worth checking out this program. (Version 5.1)

EASER And, still not there. I'm sticking with Version 4.8.5 and have given up on this program. I've been asking for this feature since Version 5 came out. All I get are promises, but I'm clearly at the bottom of their interest list. And they're now at the bottom of mine. (Version 5.1.1)

ANONYMOUS We're sorry to hear that you've given up on Path Finder. We receive roughly a dozen feature requests every day, so we do our best to float the most common requests to the top of the list. If you have a feature you'd like us to implement, I would suggest visiting http://feedback.cocoatech.com/ and casting your vote. You're also welcome to post to our feedback forum at http://forum.cocoatech.com/. (Version 5.1.3)

MOOGAN Do you mean the specific view options for a particular window? These are working fine on my Macs (10.5.6). (Version 5.1)

RICARDO BATISTA This program is simply amazing and always getting better. More and more I find myself using PathFinder instead of the Finder. Sure, it is missing a couple of things we are used to on the Finder that are simple but very useful. The feature list is incredible, PathFinder is quite a piece of work that goes way beyond what the Finder can do so I find it incredibly indispensable for me. It saves the time it would take to use other programs to accomplish some tasks (such as opening Terminal, TextEdit, Preview and many more) so I do all my file management with PathFinder and I no longer use a lot of utilities that cost me time to open them, do a quick thing and close them. When you first try it, it may look a little complicated due to the myriad of features and different look compared to the Finder. But as you start using it you start to see the huge benefits of this program. Recommended 200% for power users and developers. (Version 5.0.9)

KILLER KLOWN KAR Went back to 4.8.5 on Leopard. Way too many issues with 5. Don't actually see that many differences, and 4 works fine. (Version 5.0.9)

FRODO_LIFE 5.0.8 does not open any disk images always comes up with an error message and hence stuffs any software updates which are updated trough an update engine. Otherwise good software but have to agree a bit on the slow site. (Version 5.0.8)
